At Dan Jones Trumpet, I provide specialized music instruction focused on injury recovery and improving mindset. My mission is to help students progress in both technique and confidence, ensuring a fulfilling musical journey.
Long Island native, Daniel Jones, is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and Stony Brook University where he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, respectively. In high school, Dan performed with the Nassau-Suffolk Wind Symphony, the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York, SCMEA Jazz, and played a side-by-side concert with the National Youth Orchestra. While at Eastman, Daniel performed with the Eastman Wind Ensemble and the Eastman Philharmonia. Daniel is currently pursuing his Doctorate at Stony Brook University, continuing to study with Kevin Cobb of the American Brass Quintet, and play with the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra. Daniel teaches trumpet at Adelphi University and Nassau Community College.
